Directress Nida Khan

Hello! My name is Nida. I hold a Bachelor of Art (Education) degree as well as a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) along with the Montessori Diploma and have been teaching for 17 years. I am also the mother of two Montessori children.

I joined EMMPS four years ago and feel very proud to be part of a committed, dedicated team that has worked hard to take the school to the wonderful position that it is in today. I feel great joy when I see how the children come to our environment like “beautiful buds” and then grow into full bloom over the three years that they are in this stimulating environment. They grow in all areas – physical, social, emotional, cognitive and personal. I feel very privileged to be able to be a part of that “blossoming” and is something I treasure.

They say that good times fly, and I feel that because I enjoy what I do and feel so passionate about the Montessori philosophy, I sometimes cannot believe that 17 years have flown by. I feel just as enthusiastic and motivated today as I did as a new graduate and have Montessori to thank for this.

Assistant Carol Blanchard

I am Carol Blanchard, and I completed my Montessori Pre-Primary Teacher's Diploma in South Africa. I feel very privileged to be part of the Elizabeth Macarthur Montessori Pre-school team. My philosophy of early childhood education is based on the Montessori approach that aims to allow each child to reach their full potential in all areas of learning. I believe the Montessori method prepares the child for life, and take great pride, and feel honored to be part of this process.
